Mission Times
As promised i have a couple of photos from my last trip to our near local spot, Gas Chambers. There aren't a great deal of shots as I was in the water most of the time but hopefully these will give you a fraction of an idea of how good it was.

Keep the stoke going...

Freedom!!
It feels so good knowing that for the next 6 weeks I can surf WHENEVER I want!
Its been a few days since my last post during exams, but since then my mates and i scored a very good session at The Chamber. 3-5ft perfection with only the 6 of us out. It was super heavy, and oh boy were we spoilt for choice....barrels, barrels, and more barrels!
Surfing from dawn till roughly 3 o clock, our bodies were hating the torture they were being subjected to, and to top it all off, the 30 min walk did not help, however it was all certainly worth it and Im just frothing to post new pics for you all to see! Unfortunatly it was so good that I ended up divulging in the feast of amazing waves instead of shooting (we even had the housing and i wish i could have captured for you what we were experiencing). We did however get a couple of shots towards the end (from land)!
Will be posting a couple of these plus a few from a past Scaapeiland mission asap so watch this space!
Gna be surfing OTW or Thermo's tomo as there is a nice fat swell hitting the mothercity at the moment, so holding thumbs for good waves and as always, good times!

Exams are the devil
While im either stuck at home studying for exams, on fb while im supposed to be studying for exams or actually writing an exam, all i can think of is the amazing waves people are scoring right now!!
Its perfect weather, perfect wind and good swell to be had but hey, guess i have to endure it for a little bit longer. At least im finished tomorrow!!
Planning to cruise down on friday and sunday looks really fun so lets hold thumbs!
Perseverance is the key...in the meantime, heres a pic just to keep you all going!

All work, no play...
This isn't entirely true, but the past week or so has been pretty frustrating for me...Being in my first year of university, adjusting to the workload has been a bit of a challenge, not to mention the freedom on top of that!
This time of the year is so sick for waves in Cape Town, especially those spots that require a bit more swell than usual. However exams do (kind of) take prioritory over hitn the surf missions on a regular basis. Today for example i find myself sittn in my room, trying to focus on economics while my mind is racing and just trying to picture that one beachie or reef thats almost definitely going off like a freight train! Oh well, at least im set free on Wednesday, only 3 more days of this torture and then its 6 weeks of non-stop action :) and yes there is sooooo much to look forward to! Keep following as the hugely anticipated Thiel Board Co. Tand Invitational will be taking place with competitors such as Jared Houston and Ian Kruger all gunning for the HUGE pot of cash. And of course myself and my mates will definitely be surfing our brains out so il do my best to bring you all fresh pics of everything!!
